Great for beach cruisers

We were looking for a luggage rack for 4 bikes, 2 of which were beach cruisers. Our beach cruisers did not have a top support bar, which is commonly used for receiver-mounted bike racks. In addition, the panniers of our beach cruisers required additional space between the bikes. This carrier worked PERFECTLY for both of our beach cruiser problems. It adjusts to move any bike left/right, lots of clearance options between bikes, has plenty of space between bikes, bikes are held in place well, the

Reliable, versatile and economical

How to transport your bike! Both wheels are held securely and the weight of the bike is borne by the wheels. I've loaded everything from my 29er mountain bike to triathlon bikes to a kid's bike with 20" wheels. Nothing moved. The ability to split the trunk into two separate racks is perfect for us. I can fit two or four bikes behind mine Towing a van. or two bikes behind my Impala. It worked really well for us to take a weekend trip abroad to ride our bikes. Our road bikes didn't move once…

Perfect for the back of an RV. RELIABLE CONSTRUCTION! LOVE IT!

I use it on the back of my RV and love it! This rack is perfectly rebuilt to be STRONG! I used other racks and was always on guard because I could see (through the rear camera) the bikes shuffling around as they traveled down the road. One even stood on the tongue bent. No, the shelf wasn't overloaded. Simply put, bikes don't move on this carrier. It might not have all the bells and whistles that premium luggage racks have (e.g. built-in locking cable, quick folding and unfolding, rubber tire…

So far so good for accessories

Arrived a few days earlier than expected which was great. The box was damaged but you could tell because it was so heavy. Used yesterday with no attachment to carry an adult female bike. Continuous. Easy assembly about 30 minutes. The quality you can see. However, the Velcro straps are thin. I didn't even bother to use it. The wheels are tied up with small bungees. Driven about 25 km in the city and on the highway. The bike did not disappoint. Covered foam hook with sporty toe cap for good…

High carrier for family bikes

*** UPDATE September 2016 *** I still use this rack frequently and have not had any major issues other than those listed below. Now that the sticker on the rear vertical bar has completely come off, it no longer interferes with smaller bikes in the two rear positions. Also, I've had this rack in the rain a few times and there's no obvious rust on it except where it goes into the hitch on the car. I LOVE this bike rack! I've used it dozens of times for trips ranging from a mile or two to 500+…

Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Overall I like it. It pairs well with our bikes (both men's and women's balance bikes in 24" and 26" wheel sizes) and seems to work well on smaller or larger bikes. I've set it up but haven't ridden it yet, although it seems very educational so I don't expect any problems. What I really like is the two piece bike rack so we can only use half of it if we only need two bikes. Also, the rear half alone fits the 1 1/4" hitch that our other car has (a 2" hitch is needed for the front half or for all

Pros
  • Easy install
Cons
  • Not bad

PROS: - Excellent build quality; Steel components are well made, coated - convertible from 2 bikes to 4 bikes in no time; Not many others can do that without rework $$$$ - Easy adjustment to any bike combination - Stepped profiles offer more space and more ground clearance - Price comparison: significantly cheaper than other "top brands" and much easier to adjust VS : - Frame mounts don't snap - foam on frame mounts is cheap; loose attachment leads to slipping. It is not possible to rotate the…
