We ordered this to be able to show the show on our i-pad on the TV screen. We've used it quite a bit so far, but it does exactly what we expect and shows the i-pad screen (and the i-phone screen, which we also tested) on the TV. Because of the different aspect ratio, the picture fills the TV screen vertically but not horizontally. Connect the charging cable to the device, the iPad will be charged as usual while using the TV. Image quality looks good. Again, we only used it briefly for testing, but are very happy with the results to date.
