Reflects everything but the actual video/audio

So far, so good! I received it today (early) and it seems to be working fine. I had to play with the cable a bit. It doesn't seem to want to charge...but I'll keep trying. (Only used the HDMI part so far) Update: While this mirrors my phone, none of my apps allow playback so this is useless. And I've tried Prime, Netflix, Disney Plus, YouTube, ESPN, and Hulu. How sad 😭😭 return.

Useful for HDMI and file transfer

This HDMI adapter works with my iPad 8th gen without drivers. I can stream directly to my TV via HDMI. It is actually a mirror image and there is no sound delay. With the current version of iOS 14, I can also access USB drives through my Files app. I was able to transfer files to my iPad including videos and documents. I like the short cord and the ability to charge it when plugged in.

Temperament Adapter

What's good: When the adapter works, the HDMI output works fine. That's why I bought it in the first place. Cons: * Try as I might, I couldn't find a pass-through charging adapter for the iPad (I have a Mini). Adapter for the "connection" to the iPad. Plug in the HDMI first, then the iPad, then cross your fingers for the iPad to actually show the adapter as a screen mirroring option. Unknown: I haven't tried using the USB port and tbqh I wouldn't try.

Works as advertised and expected

We ordered this to be able to show the show on our i-pad on the TV screen. We've used it quite a bit so far, but it does exactly what we expect and shows the i-pad screen (and the i-phone screen, which we also tested) on the TV. Because of the different aspect ratio, the picture fills the TV screen vertically but not horizontally. Connect the charging cable to the device, the iPad will be charged as usual while using the TV. Image quality looks good. Again, we only used it briefly for testing…

Slow frame rate, requires power, heats up and causes problems

For some reason this product is rated as (1) thickness, (2) warmth, (3) material quality. It looks like a piece of clothing. Here's what I noticed about this product: (1) There seems to be a low frame rate or responsiveness issue when used on an iPad with a mouse and HDMI display. Mouse movement is slow. However, I noticed that this is also a problem when mirroring to an older Apple TV. For people who only process text or use the iPad's touchscreen, this probably won't be a problem. (2) I found

It's nice to run music apps on a 4k monitor. Or connect midi controller to your iPhone

I bought this to chill on the couch and record songs in Mirack/Fl studio on an iPhone connected to a 4K display. So far, so good.
