I installed them last fall when the bike was in storage. The battery was not in the bike but in the charger on the bench. They just fit and look great. I swapped out both antennas because I knew the CB antenna I removed wouldn't work with the new antenna, but I never use it for CB anyway. This gives it a balanced look as both antennas are the same. This week I started up a 1993 Goldwing. Tried the radio and found the antenna didn't work very well. Doesn't pick up my regular transmitters like OEM antennas. Lots of static. Any suggestions would be helpful.
