Seems to work well after some time under the iron. I recommend leaving the iron in place for 60 seconds, then moving it around a bit and repeating the process. It must be hot enough to detach from the backing and stick to the fabric. Do not use the iron at high temperatures. Just do what he recommends and keep him there longer. Warning: smaller/thin parts are much more difficult to machine, so keep them tall or short and you shouldn't have any problems.
