It seemed like a good idea, but I didn't like it at all. It was very frustrating for me trying to remove the paper backing from the adhesive. It was quite difficult to start from a corner and even then sometimes the glue came loose with the paper. I think you need Job's patience and a steely grip on your fingertips to know how to use them. I used a few, threw away the rest, and went back to using nails. Addendum 01/08/2018: I received a replacement and the strips worked perfectly. There is no problem removing the paper backing and they are relatively easy to use afterwards. So I assume that the first package was defective. Provided you get a good package, it's a useful product. I added one star to my rating.
