I bought a new TV stand a few months ago and recently bought a 65" 4K LG TV (UJ6300). The stand is documented to support up to 70-inch TVs, so I thought it was fine. LG's decision to include VESA 300 instead of VESA 400 in the TV's design posed a problem, but only because they also thought it would be a good idea to design a real raise at the bottom rear of the TV. Mounts in a position where the mounting holes would only align with a VESA 400 equipped TV. Add my desire to mount the TV on a stand - with at least 8 inches of clearance (See, I was scratching my head. I considered buying a new stand, but couldn't find anything in my Walmart level Budget that matched my preamp and amp LG was $900 with a 2 year extended warranty Next best option was the $1000 VIZIO Lots of faith in the brand so the idea of shelling out the extra 260 Dollar ruled out that possibility. I decided to install TV feet to temporarily bypass the floating mount, but that forced me to rearrange all of my components and ended up using all of the previously available shelf space underneath. I knew it had to be a way to do this It all worked so I started searching the internet for a solution.After about a week of searching I found and ordered Husky VESA adapters.Probably y that any of the identical adapter plates is chamfered to allow space for the mounting screws. They also served as perfect spacers for the LG hump. After much trial and error, I found a configuration that allowed me to overcome all the shortcomings of both the TV and the TV stand, without blocking any of the inputs on the back or the LG power button on the bottom edge. I was also able to move the center speaker back to its original position so that it is now at ear level. I also have plenty of extra space for a Nintendo Switch which should be under the tree ;) Most people would consider this a trivial issue but if you are on a budget and need your wife's approval this product can really save your life . ***. If you have a similar problem, you will not find a cheaper solution. I would give them 10 stars if it was possible.
