Review on 🌿 Hannah Natural Pure Herbal Henna Powder: Authentic 100g for Vibrant Hair Color by Kevin Staniszewski

I am very happy with the natural copper color and shine of my hair after using this product for the first time today. My (previously colored) hair is naturally straight, fine, dark brown, just below my shoulder blades. I decided to try henna for the first time in years after getting fed up with the harsh offspring lines of Clairol's Nice & Easy (110 Natural Light Auburn) and Garnier's Olia (6.43 Light Natural Auburn) products. I was not disappointed. To combat the "naturally earthy" smell of henna and sometimes the drying effect, I have a 50g pack of hot water, 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil, 1 tablespoon coconut oil and 1/2 to 1 teaspoon cinnamon, clove, ginger - and vanilla essence that gives a smooth and creamy texture. Application was predictably messy (it's almost like covering my hair in mud), and I left the solution in my hair for about 70 minutes after tying it in a high bun and wearing the included plastic shower cap. After washing, conditioning and blow drying my hair definitely smelled less 'earthy' than the previous henna application and the result was exactly the color I was hoping for. I recommend applying the moisturizer liberally to the ears and hairline using disposable latex gloves (plastic not included), wearing dark clothing during application, and quickly cleaning up any "spills" in the bathroom to avoid unwanted stains. When I put on my last 50g pack in a few weeks I will try to leave it on for the recommended 90-120 minutes to compare the intensity of the colour. Given the affordable price, I will definitely buy this brand of henna again.
