Interesting item to review but not really. This thing is insanely isolated. I get hot boiling water for shaving and soak my comb in it, ok this bowl keeps it hot, after 5-10 minutes I can go back and grab the bowl just feeling a little warmth from the contents inside. I can't do that with the plastic cup I use for my blade. But this bowl is good and well made. I lather the brush with a washing machine, start stirring and collect a good shaving foam. Once I'm done and done, I rinse the brush while I clean the bowl. The shell is not heavy and really light.
