Read the safety instructions first; Great variety of inclusions

I LOVE my latest order from YIEHO 200g UV Resin Kit. This is easily a 5 star product. It is important to read the enclosed leaflet first. I am very pleased that Yieho lists the ingredients that may cause health and safety issues and how it may affect the health of the user or bystanders. An email address is also provided for any follow-up questions or concerns. I advise new users to request a Material Safety Data Sheet to better understand the precautions to be taken when using a new resin product. I only use resin products outside of my home's ventilation system. I wear safety goggles, a respirator and cover all exposed skin. I keep a supply of gloves ready. I love this set because it contains so many useful materials. It is also important to understand the limitations of UV curable resin as it differs from other formulas. The UV light must fully penetrate the product in sufficient time for full curing. The included low power nail lamp works well with very, very small amounts of tar. It comes with a USB cable. I run this from a small USB battery. Sunlight will also cure the UV resin, but this may take longer depending on the product. The silicone mat protects your work surface and the cured resin simply peels off. I find it easy to clean with good quality baby wipes and isopropyl alcohol. I really like the inclusion of pigments. A little really matters, so it's important to be familiar with the limit of pigments that a resin can hold while still providing a good cure. Of course, the same applies to foil flakes and glitter. A surefire way to get a bad remedy is to use too much! Exposure to light for too short a time does not heal either. The silicone mold is good for making funny charms. To use the mold provided, I suggest hardening the parts in several layers and possibly making a domed layer after the part is removed from the mold. It is very, very important to use transparent silicone molds to allow light to enter the product. I bought several transparent molds separately and made beads from the set. If your item has a strong odor, this is a sure sign that it has not been properly cured. I found no lingering odor in my hardened beads. My finished beads are 1cm, I used my own 5ml pipettes because I was able to pipette the medium strength resin into the pipette and allow the bubbles to rise in the pipette before pouring the resin into the mold. This gives me bubble-free results every time. If you don't bubble into your ebb, you won't have blisters. UV resin is also very sensitive to humidity and temperature. I have cured my products at 45% humidity and my room temperature of 22Β°C without any problems. It is very important to have a good understanding of the limitations of UV resin compared to other formulas such as epoxy, they do not cure in the same way and are best used for different projects. The resin is crystal clear and of medium thickness, making it easier to work with than some others. My cured parts didn't shrink, so I believe the formula doesn't contain too many solvents and is a good quality formula. I am happy to recommend this UV resin kit to some users. I do not recommend this for children as the resin is for adults only for safety reasons. This is a good kit for those who have a general understanding of UV curing resin best practices and understand the limitations that must be associated with UV penetration in order to cure a photosensitive polymer catalyst.
