I have used chain training collars on all my dogs and they meet my requirements: quality construction, adequate (large) link to prevent pinching to avoid and pulling/hair loss, and at a great price. When used correctly, there is no better way to get your dog's attention during training or to stay in control of a dog who wants to go ahead or fall behind their owner. The attached photo of a collared Doberman is incorrect! The part of the chain that goes through the loop must always be on the dog's neck! Using the collar as shown in the picture may cause damage to the dog's throat/respiratory system or even death. A final word of caution: do not use this training collar as your dog's "everyday" collar. It should only be used when physically attached to your dog with a leash.
