Unbeatable gloves for the price.

I have used these gloves extensively melting lead for casting bullets. Here are some thoughts: Benefits; - The price was very reasonable for these gloves. You can't beat them when compared to name brand welding gloves - the performance is outstanding. I work with very hot (700 degrees Fahrenheit) cast iron and ball molds. They protect my hands perfectly and I have never burned myself. I like the long cuffs on them. They really help protect your forearms. I've worn them with a Carhart coat in cold weather and the cuffs on the sleeves were a bit bulky but nothing that bothered me or caused any problems. they stay hot. I agree with this statement. When I take a hot ingot of lead to move it (freshly solidified at about 500 degrees Fahrenheit) the gloves get hot and cool down a bit. If I move the bars until I feel my hand is warm and put them down, it takes some time for them to cool down again. It's just a function of isolation. However, I never burned myself doing it. Overall these are amazing gloves and I would definitely buy them again and highly recommend them for hot work. I hope I have helped you in your decision to purchase this product.
