UPDATE: It can be easily flashed with DD-WRT (luckily I may have a rev E3 DIR-615). I flashed with DD-Wrt because after adding a few more WiFi devices to my family (over 12 in total) we started seeing a lot of "getting IP addresses". and other symptoms where wireless clients are disconnecting and not reconnecting and not getting an IP address correctly. Only a few clients experience the error from time to time (on average, several days pass between problems), but for many clients it appears on one client or another a few minutes after the router restarts. (One workaround is to use static Wi-Fi assignments on each client - which I could do for some but would be difficult for any client.) Obviously there is a problem with the router or its Dlink-provided firmware. - I hope there is no such bug in DD-WRT - we'll see. The issue was particularly evident on Android clients, but has occasionally been observed on Windoze and iPhone as well. Yes, just after the initial purchase and installation, I updated the latest Dlink firmware, so today let's try DD-WRT.FWIW, which I'm currently running: Firmware: DD-WRT v24-sp2 (3/25/13) stdRouter Model D - Link DIR-615-E3 /E4
