Review on Rubbermaid FG6B9900 Comfort Grip by Randall Kelley

Sent back because they couldn't remove the tag - really

I bought this set to replace a set from another manufacturer that wasn't very strong and uncomfortable to grip. I have an old model of this set, I like it. I really didn't want the extra ring of bristles pointing backwards (presumably to get under the rim) because the regular Rubbermaid brush I have does a great job. What I really wanted, and Rubbermaid seems to be the only company doing this, is a ledge on the handle that prevents the brush bristles from bottoming out on the cart. The other manufacturer's set I replaced had the bristles on the top of the brush completely worn out in a short time because the brush was resting on the bottom of the cart instead of hanging like a Rubbermaid brush. Imagine my disappointment when I received this set and couldn't remove the tag. Instead of a Mylar label or other type of low-tack label that would peel off in one piece, the label in this kit was paper and peeled off in fractions of an inch with the bottom layer of the label still attached. I could see it would take at least an hour to remove the entire label and then I would have to use a sticky bulk remover to remove the rest of the label. I'm just not that patient. I sent the kit back. I want Rubbermaid to bring back the old set without the bristles pointing up and the tag that is difficult to remove.

Pros
  • Comfortable grip
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something
