Review on Bridgestone Turanza T001 205/60 R16 92V summer by Wiktor Niemiec ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Normal quality, you can use it.

I operate 205/55/R16 94W on Skoda Octavia. I supplement the review after a summer run of 40000 km (per season). I am writing a review because before this model I was looking for Pirelli P600 and Pirelli Q7 (two sets). There is a winter Bridgestone, well, I bought into the manufacturer and the price, I thought that since winter tires are excellent, then summer too. I made a mistake, in light rain, if the road is without a track, then you can still drive 100-110 km / h. On wet pavement, it keeps itself confident, but if it rains harder and there is more water, it starts to float. If there is a track, then 80-90 is better. What the manufacturers say does not match the description. Even in summer, if a track comes across, it throws it away. (And the track on the Ural roads is almost everywhere) The steering wheel pulls out of the hands. Tires are noisy in moderation, even when compared with their own winter counterpart. (I have Velcro Bridge). They roll for a long time. After a run of 1000-1500 km, they became more adequate. On dry, smooth asphalt, they work at 5+. On the highway Tagil Hong Kong, who traveled knows this "drunk" road. On it, I entered turns at speeds of 110-120 (on average, they go 70-80). No side drift, like on rails! The only negative at such speeds is tire wear. I traveled a lot on dirt roads, I came across stones and all sorts of crap and crushed bottles, not on purpose of course. In this regard, it is 5, strong and you don’t have to worry about cuts or tears. I wanted to change until I traveled, but it did not work out. there were a lot of trips, but there was no money, and I finished it. Over 40,000 km of run, the rubber has worn out by 65-70%. Therefore, there is still a little left for the next season, and there I will take Pirelli, it goes longer. And the price is about the same. Our Ural roads are a rut, and the weather is either rain or hot. Keeps the heat, rut and rain badly. Now I'm looking at prices (5600 and higher), I won't take it for exactly that kind of money. I'm raising my rating to a solid 3.

Pros
  • Price, in that 2022 he took 4300. Holds well on turns, braking works well, but in dry weather.
Cons
  • Noisy in moderation; catches a rut, even in dry weather. aquaplaning
