The bottom of this shoe is very strange and my daughter and I scratched the back of our head a bit. Instead of simple handles on the bottom, there were 1/2 inch widened and split circles that form a platform of sorts. I don't know how to explain better, but it was weird. The upper of the sneaker is ok, but they didn't look right for my daughter (or me) for her school.
