It's just fun Best in Sports

Absolutely no need. But it's fun and it works. I've used about 4 strands and they do a great job of removing dirt from your chain and cassette, but they wear out and get tangled in your teeth all the time. Of course there is a learning curve, but come on. bike thread. It's just fun. If you are looking for practicality I would just use a piping brush or set of wire brushes. They can be reused and are more environmentally friendly. Note: They are great replacements for third party tools as they fit between links very well. Just thread the thread and tie off the wrong length of thread and it works very well. When you're done, just cut it up and throw it away

Pros
  • Easy to use! Place dental floss between the gears. Slide back and forth. Slide them into other hard-to-reach places such as sprockets, hubs and spindles, brake levers, bottom bracket/crank linkage, etc.
Cons
  • Quick Guide
