Review on πŸ’Š Nick Safe Styptic Powder Bottle 0.25 oz for Clubmen by Patricia Mendoza

Once a great product, recent changes have rendered the current item unusable.

I always need a styptic shaving pencil for cuts, but I hate the mess it leaves behind and the way it reacts and dissolves after rinsing, even when wiped with a tissue. Also never felt comfortable with blood coming in contact with the pencil and then rinsing it out and reusing it. I know, I know, it's supposed to have antiseptic properties, but that's not hygienic. Someone offers the same powdered product - wet your fingertip, put some hemostatic powder on it, touch your heart. Nick, and the bleeding stops. No mess to clean up, as long as you don't touch the container spout with a wet finger, don't worry about an unsanitary stick with blood on it. Great product and great value for money! Stops bleeding just as quickly as a styptic stick, maybe even faster as it dissolves faster. I can't say how long this will last, of course it depends on how heavy your tears and bleeding are. UPDATE: I've bought three of these in the last two months - it's no longer a powder but of course a hemostatic stick. It won't even go through the nozzle and it's impossible to apply to a cut as the chunks are large and sharp enough to hurt a wet finger or fall off before you can apply it. For reference, Revain sent replacement bottles, but they were also chunky chunks and not the powder that used to work so well. One star rating change.
