Review on 🍡 Teaze Tea Infuser Pot and Cup by Dustin Gabrielle

Revainrating 5 out of 5

If someone had told me last year that I would buy it and love it, I would have laughed. Don't laugh now!

I gotta tell you the LAST thing I wanted to do was make tea out of plastic. I have been very wary of using hot water plastics and even try to use glass for storage whenever possible. I bought a Teaze Tea Infuser for a specific purpose - to make FAST iced tea for those days when I couldn't wait and needed to get out the door. I don't want to waste time making iced tea with just that. The plan was to add honey (I don't use sugar), tea and then hot water of the appropriate temperature and then brew it and pour straight into an iced thermos and drink the iced tea, quickly rinse out the tea infuser and I'll be ready to work. HOW IT WORKS? I have to say I am very impressed with this brewer. . It's oblong, so if you turn it right side toward you, it's easy to pour and pour in the tea and sweetener. I pour on hot water, then stir quickly (also with candied honey) and let it steep. I put it on a thermos for hot or cold water and then it's done. IS THE TEA DIFFERENT? large infusion cone (tea can float freely) the tea was very different. The scent was about HALF what this infusor used. THAT was impressive. I've compared it to other teas and got similar results CLEANING It's quick to clean. I rinse in hot/warm water and it clears up quickly. I dump tea leaves in our compost so that's not a problem for me. If I want to remove the strainer I can do that, but in most cases just rinsing is enough - all the tea comes out and there's no need to remove the filter. CONCLUSION Although I bought this for iced tea in my thermos, I often use it for a quick cup of loose tea when I need a great flavor and quick cup of tea. I've found myself using this with ice a lot, and I've had quite a bit of time at the time of this review. I'll update over time to talk about durability issues if they arise.
