Review on Yasutomo CG18 Sumi Ink 180Ml by Kelly Caballes

I really like this ink. It's smooth and fluid, but rich and glides well. I have one caveat - gold levels really seem to be paper based. I'm an etegami artist and tried this ink on watercolor paper and etegami paper (e.g. sumi-e-ish?) in the same session and they looked completely different. On Etegami cards it was gold with a black outline, on watercolor paper it was almost black, but with an indistinct metallic sheen. If this is what you were looking for. You have to shake it really well to mix it up and remember gold can sink in your palette but all things being equal paper seems to make a big difference. All this to say that I would buy it again, it's really beautiful!
