Wanted to mount a nice Fujicon f1.4 50mm lens from a Mamiya Sekor SLR to a Sony a6000. The following issues have been encountered in order of severity. 1. The adapter moves the lens far enough away from the sensor that 10 feet (3m) is the maximum distance the lens can focus. In other words, it's a good adapter for macro photography, but not practical as an adapter for this lens.2. This lens has a small tab on the aperture ring that extends beyond the base of the lens. The tab comes out of the Mamiya camera body easily, but the adapter's diameter is too large, which interferes with the protrusion. This locks the snap ring and prevents it from turning. Other adapters have the required narrow pad width.3. When the lens was screwed to the adapter, the aperture and focus marks were on the wrong side. Not visible from above.4. The socket of the threaded adapter inside the adapter is not blackened. It probably makes you think. I took a close look at the design. There doesn't seem to be any reason for such a big confrontation. Without pasting it could be stretched to 1/3 the current length and focused to infinity. Just because this adapter is designed to use inserts, it has to be so long and heavy. At least the exterior finish was good. Makes a good paperweight
