This is Dynama. Best in Climbing

My first test was to cut it with scissors. this is my "dyneema test". If it tears like pulled pork, it's a dynema. How do you cut this material? I have found the ceramic blade to cut Dyneema cleanly without tearing. Let's get to the cable. It appears to be nylon-wrapped Dyneema with a reflective stripe. The color is very bright so you can't miss it day or night! My original thought was to use this guy line for my ultralight tents. Turns out I gave up after seeing the cable. In my opinion it's too thick and HARD to make decent strings out of it. I definitely use it for something other than stretch marks. Instead, I will continue to use ThreeBulls 1.8mm (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01IHRAXD6?) for this application. It's thinner, lighter and not as stiff as the Dyneema alternative. In comparison, the Dyneema line is undeniably stronger than the ThreeBulls. It's also slightly larger in diameter, much stiffer and heavier in weight. It said; For the application I am using the cable for, ThreeBulls is almost perfect. It's lightweight, reflective and fits my tensioners perfectly. This is strong enough for any tent related application. I'm sure the tent anchors (or tent pegs) will break long before the ThreeBulls line breaks. Bottom Line: Expect this Dynema line to be of the highest quality, VERY strong and fairly ROBUST. If they work well for your application, you can't go wrong with this cable.
