This is a good quality turtleneck sweater. It's thick and light at the same time, if that makes sense. I ordered size 7 for my child who will soon be 7 but it is not as roomy as I would like. She might only be able to wear it on career day, then I would have to pass it on to another kid right after. What saves us at that last moment is that it will be able to fit a 54/55 pound child in length. Otherwise, if you have a kid with a slimmer build, that's fine if you're the right height and age.
