Although I use these as a regular sleep mask with or without sound, I bought this primarily for migraines. Depending on how I'm feeling, I can use it to listen to a book, white noise or soft music to soften the sound of dogs barking, or just as a mask. It's cool on the face and a little warm on the ears (which I like as mine are always cold) and has very soft padding around the eyes so there's no pressure. Sometimes it presses on my nose enough to make me feel a bit stuffy, but I can usually adjust it well enough to keep it to a minimum. The small speakers are so flat that my very sensitive ears don't hurt when positioned correctly. Can't speak to the sound quality for music as I mostly use them for either audio books or white noise, but they're good for that. One of the best migraine relief products I have ever found!
