They are for the bottom of the coil spring, not the top.
Easy to wear except for the bottom of the feather, not for the top! I had to order the top case separately as it's supposed to be the top case I think. I've used them underneath and haven't noticed any difference in noise, so time will tell if they're needed or not. There is no floor jack from the factory, but they can't offend anyone.
