Although I never figured out how to get the Rogz Catz collar to fit my black cat exactly, it took him about eight months to lose it - and then because he got into a catfight. He is an indoor/outdoor cat (I wish I could keep him at home all the time, but that's next to impossible) and he is very social with other cats in the neighborhood. I loved that this collar glowed in the dark - the edges of it still worked even when it scratched most of the collar down the middle - and the little bell rang whenever he ran up to me. . (Yes, he reacts like a dog when I call his name!) I gave him a tag with his name and my phone number on it and everything was great. until he came home with a wink and no cat collar. No one has called me yet to say they found it, so I'm ordering more for them. Our cat has a collar from another company and it's excellent for her; but I know our active boy would lose him in a heartbeat. He's just too cute, too fast, too trusting and too black to let him out on the street without another Rogz Catz collar. UPDATE 06/23/2014: The second Rogz Catz collar arrived in the mail a few days ago. This time I brought a flathead screwdriver to the small indentation in the cat collar's handle and adjusted it slightly to a different value. Why didn't I think of that sooner? However, I have decided to share my discovery here in case others are also confused on how to adjust the Rogz Catz collar to better suit their cat's weight.
