If you're reading this, you might be in the same boat as me. Amazing Bose system that won't turn on because the gremlins living under your house stole the remote (they also have your Tupperware t-shirts and all the missing socks from your drawer). Just wanted to confirm that it works with the Bose Cinemate 2, you know the old model with a car key sized remote that is very easy to lose sight of, yes, that model. This time I keep the remote in the same place (the Apple TV remote controls the volume, but of course the device must be on). Great buy, the OG remote is being discontinued and the remote it replaced on newer Cinemate systems is about 5-6x the price.
