I've found better tailgate helpers for a little more money.

Trunk release aid was sent in a paper envelope which was blank when first ordered. On my second order the trunk release system arrived and was installed and the next day less than 24 hours later the top clip broke off and was gone. The repair you see holds the top connection to the bed. On closer inspection, the lower connection is now detached from the tailgate.
