I enjoy drawing with graphite and am beginning to learn about charcoal and ink painting techniques. I received this paper to use with all of these media. The book itself is quite simple - no thick fancy cover, just a simple spiral binding. My size is 5.5 x 8.5. Contrary to the description, the pages are NOT perforated. The texture of the paper is very pleasant with quite a bit of jagging. I really enjoy drawing on it, especially with charcoal, which goes well with it. Even with the 2H pencil you can see the texture coming through which makes for great shading. He seems to like the ink too without the bleeding I see. Despite the lack of perforation, I am very satisfied with the sketchbook and will continue to use it mainly for charcoal.
