Review on ๐ŸŠ Portable Fun: Hasbro Travel Hungry Hippo Game Ensures On-the-Go Entertainment! by Joe Bottomkent

Revainrating 5 out of 5

They're still fun after all these years (and now they're wearable)!

I was a fan of this game as a kid. So I bought it out of pure nostalgia. kids LOVE it! It's a great travel size, and being self-contained there are no lost parts in the car. Just like in the full-size game, you throw "balls" with your thumb and then use your hippo's "tail" to get the hippo to shoot the balls and eat them. The hippo that eats the most wins! Movements in both parts of the game (marble shooter and behemoth head) move effortlessly and are easy to execute even with small hands (but surprisingly comfortable for my big hands). I suspect it will hold up fairly well as it was badly damaged the night we broke it up for all the nieces and nephews. Car ride, that clicking sound hippos make would drive me to a car death after a while. But those are pretty minor issues, and overall, this article was a HIT for kids ages 5-43. So, I would say take it before your next trip!
