Review on DiLiVing SFF 8639 SFF 8643 Connector Servers LRNV9349 8I by Walt Smirnoff

Tested with Windows and Linux. Hard drives are recognized but cannot be partitioned. Windows throws a CRC error when trying to initialize a disk or create a volume. Linux has a permanent I/O error message. Similar error messages when trying to partition one of the disks with fdisk. All drives have been tested on a different controller. I had high hopes for it, but unfortunately it wasn't destined to come true. Note that these tests were run on an ASUS consumer motherboard. I will also test on a Supermicro server board. I will update this review as the results get better. UPDATE: The card works on several different SuperMicro server boards. If you intend to use this card on a consumer motherboard, be careful. Updated stars to 4 as it works on the server system.
