I have had a perfectly working floor safe Sentry "fireproof" for many years, in which I store, among other things, five external hard drives with PC backups. They contain over 20 years of work, so needless to say, loss by fire would be nothing short of a complete disaster. Most fireproof safes (including mine) are rated to withstand flames at very high temperatures for at least 30 minutes. Of course, this does not guarantee the safety of their contents if the fire cannot be extinguished within this time. in my floor safe for extra protection and one to grab quickly when I step out the door if a fire breaks out in my house. It measures about 15" x 11" and is actually designed for documents, it's more than big enough to hold my backup drives with free space. Excellent "fireproof" material is used inside and outside with perfect stitching. It has two closures: a zipper that goes at the top and a flap that closes with strong buttons. -up drives are completely destroyed. I'm seriously considering renting a safe near me to rearrange those drives every time I backup, but until then, this product definitely offers some extra and welcome peace of mind.
