It's a little smaller than I thought it would be, but my teenage daughter enjoyed putting it together and there's a lot of detail. Like many other wooden models, it has thin parts so you're almost guaranteed to break one of them when assembling it; Luckily, in my experience, a bit of superglue holds the pieces together without too much trouble. They also give duplicates of a pair of more delicate items.
