Review on 🚲 SONGMICS Adjustable Bicycle Cargo Carrier Rack with Disc Brake - USBC03B by Ben Balas

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Sophisticated mounting system

This rack offers maximum adjustable mounting points for any bike. Keep in mind that this will only work if your bike has the standard mounting lugs found on all city/hybrid and most road bikes. If you have a mountain bike that doesn't typically have mounting lugs, you can use a seatpost-mounted rack instead. Install it on my bike (Specialized Sirrus Alloy Elite, 20 speed). First, disassemble the screws to find out which ones to use for the various mounting and attachment points. It's not overly complicated (relatively easy, actually), but if I skip reading the instructions, there's usually at least one bug that needs to be disassembled to fix. Keep in mind that this is a universal design approach. This means that you have to adapt the standard model to your individual bike. This becomes important when the rack's vertical legs are bolted to the mounting holes just above the rear pivot (i.e. rear derailleur). You'll probably need to spend the legs wider to cover the width of the left and right attachment points. This might be obvious to some, but anyone who isn't sure how it all connects can be disconcerting. One last tip, don't over-tighten all the screws in the pre-assembly, as you might shift things a bit one way or the other. healthy. Wait until you have the rack installed, then go back and tighten everything. Once finished this is a beautiful and very durable shelf.
