I've tried everything and it really works! I don't do "auto delivery" but I do now. We cannot live without them. And it's gentle, it won't damage my non-stick pots and pans, thin glasses, mugs, etc. Forget the blue stuff. If you have hard water or your dishwasher is old (we both have issues) and your dishes aren't sparkling, you really need this! Easy to use and has a slight clean lemon scent while the dishwasher is running but there is no aftertaste on the dishes, just sparkling clean. several times i was half happy with the results so i got used to our extremely hard water. I put a small amount in an open cup, but I also put in about half a tablespoon or so, I don't measure, just pour a little into a sealable dispenser, then place food pills on top and seal the dispenser (we use Quit Max All in One by Costco). In this way we finally have really clean, shiny glasses, no water stains, no hard film of water on my glasses; I no longer feel like I have to hand wash everything to clean it! If you have an old dishwasher like ours and are trying to live with it for a few more years, try Finish Dishwasher Cleaner. We use it every 3-4 months to salvage an old - from the 70's - original DW, when our house was built the old dishwasher always chugged along.
