Review on BN59 01292A BN5901292A Bluetooth Control Samsung by Brian Kingsford

This remote works for my Samsung TV EXCEPT its mic will not sync with my Samsung Smart other than the remotes work fine. Biggest complaint about all remotes like this: you CANNOT remove the back cover with less than nine basic ballet moves [more or less]. There were times when it took me an hour and most of my nails to undo the back of this type of remote, no exaggeration. I had this problem before finally realizing there was only one way to avoid constant headaches every time I changed my battery. I took the back cover (once I took it off) and took a razor (any small, very sharp knife will do) and ran along the bottom edge between the "wings" at the starting edge (the end next to the mic) to remove them the thin edge of the plastic. Here and look! With that gap, I can now remove the lid in seconds with no difficulty, no broken nails, almost no tools, and no frustration. [I use a generic female tool to start removing the lid: a butter knife LOL) Since this remote looks pretty much the same as the Revain Fire Stick controller (which has the exact same lid that cannot be removed), I found the simplest use colored tape to tell them apart, but any sticker or colored tape will do. The tape also helps you find them faster, even in the dark. IMHO duct tape is better because it's easy to apply and doesn't leave a mark. Now if only I could sync the mic to my TV I would give it five stars.
