You get what you pay for. Gold and silver look embarrassingly cheap. I mean, they look like the cheap shiny plastic jewelry you get from one of those scratching posts. No way am I giving this to my boyfriend for Christmas. But the black one is really good and I'll give him this one. I will donate two more. I must add they seem significant. They are the right weight, made of metal and the clamping mechanism works well. But I can only give two stars because I can't imagine anyone using gold and silver. You just look stupid.
