Black looked ok but it was matte and just looked varnished. Nothing fancy but best of all. The yellow gold was neither muted nor subtle as shown in the pictures (almost rose gold) but a garish coppery yellow that would probably go well with the classic Casio calculator watch seen in every 80's children's movie. X. ...silver was the worst. I just wanted a plain chrome/silver tie like the one in the picture. I actually bought the whole set just to wear as the regular ones are hard to come by…

Not sure about the experience of others but these tie clips are exceptional and excellent quality! They are fabulously built. They also look expensive. The packaging is neat and professional. I would have taken a picture but there was no time.

Great price for 3 primary colors which I think every man should have! You can go to many stores and get incredible amounts of money for a single clip. I've seen many of them go up to $80 and offer nothing that these clips don't. All three stay in place flawlessly. I know some braces can be painful and require adjustment throughout the day, but not this one. Weakening of the locking mechanism.

They fit some ties. Definitely not for knit ties. The product is also very cheap, which I think is to be expected given the price. Gold is the worst. The other two were ok. However, it will do the work for other close bonds.

Excellent quality for the price. I wish it was the same length as the width of my tie but I guess that's just my OCD lol, comes with a little pouch to put it in. The black has a matte look that I like while the silver and gold are very shiny. Very satisfied!
