With this hard drive you get a wire. One end of this cable is a USB cable that you connect to your computer. The other end of the cable is used to connect to the hard drive itself. If you don't use proper storage, the point where you insert this wire may break. You should try not to put this device in a bag full of things that might jar the hard drive plug-in, and you should always try to avoid any movement that might jar the plug-in from its socket in the device. As long as you can do that, this device will likely last a long time and is a great way to store your backup files. Highly recommended for people who want to backup their data and files.
