I bought a gate. The description says it fits a 23 inch door. Gate 29 inches. Didn't come out the door. I had to use it for another door. That's 29 inches. But if you use an airtight lid, it won't fit in the doorway. I need to use a sticker to attach the gate to the door frame. You have to tell people it's 29 inches versus 41 inches.
