I bought a kit that uses them on my glass top. I cleaned it for years with a regular sponge and a "creamy" liquid designed to clean this type of oven. One day I realized there was a lot of stuff being cooked on the stove, so I got this set. happy with how well they work. The kit also includes a blade and blade handle, as well as a sponge "handle" and a small bottle of cleaner (there is a set with a larger bottle of cleaner, but I've had many so I just got the one with a small one bottle I linked above). I also need to replace the razor blade, it didn't last as long as the brush but they are cheap to replace. You must be careful when using the blade because if you try to scrape the cooked food and the plate is not wet, or if you don't do it at the right angle, your plate will be scratched. There are videos showing exactly how to use it. You need to hold your razor at a certain angle and make sure you have some cream to clean this type of stove (a small bottle of cleaner is included). I have been using the original scraper for several months. before replacement is required. It was a great price for 3 replacement scrubbers and they are very easy to swap out. Just remove the old one and the new one sticks instantly like Velcro. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who has a glass range cooker. They work without a kit, but I highly recommend buying a kit first as the blade makes a huge difference and it's easier to clean when you have a "handle". However, if you decide to use them without a kit, they will still do their job much better than regular cleaning sponges.
