This filter is as described. Arrived quickly and installed right away. No leakage after installation. Follow the instructions for how much water to drain (for watering the plants) and the filtered water is ready to use. The filter claims to be able to filter up to 300 gallons before the next change, which is a lot better than the OEM filter that claims to be able to filter up to 200 gallons. I couldn't understand a difference in taste between the original Kenmore filter and the Mist filter. The only difference I can say for sure is that MIST's price is much cheaper.
