Not for BMW. It's too free. Maybe it's okay for Volvo, or it's just such poor quality. I tried, so loose I was afraid of damaging the plastic cap. I measured the inside distances and the shortest distance was 86.8, not the advertised 86.6. What a waste of time, now I have to buy and wait for another one. I will try 86.4 as I see good reviews about it from BMW owners
