Almost a great idea but there is a design flaw as the blades are held in place by the tension of the fork spring. Necessarily the tension is very high and I need a wrench to loosen and install the blades. There is no way to adjust the tension like on a traditional copy saw. It would be better to have a stronger fork without a spring and some method of tensioning the blade with a bolt, as spring tension decreases over time and different blades require different tensions. In general, while the yoke spring tension is very high, as mentioned, it's still not strong enough to prevent the blade from rotating (if you don't want it to). Finally, in many cases, the yoke is too short to get the right angle (if you notice, the yoke is a lot shorter than a regular fretsaw). It's frustrating because it's almost a great idea and would otherwise be great for combating crown molding. I think Rockwell wanted to make a similar device with a possibly better design, but I don't think they've done it yet (if they have, I'd try their device). Other tools with regular adapters will do. Comes with a good set of blades, blades can be purchased separately. Overall, though, it's probably good to have in your pocket if you have money to spend.
