You use these to repair your Ford power window motor. It is MUCH easier to remove the engine block and replace the transmission than the entire governor block. You can repair both motor assemblies in about 2 hours. I cleaned my old gear and tried to fit a new gear, couldn't push the three "washers" into the metal gear. The fit was too tight. I could either discard the washers or reuse the stock drive. I decided to just reuse the sprocket as only the old washers were destroyed. It's still a good deal as I was able to fix both windows for about $30, but ended up just using the washers from that kit. If your drive is bad, you'll have to file the washers to install them, and that's going to be a problem.
