I use this to share two screens and keyboard and mouse between two PCs. Depending on your setup, you may need two additional adapters to run secondary HDMI outputs from USB-A ports. That is, if you want to share two screens between two computers. Make sure each computer has enough USB and HDMI ports. I'm using Logitech Unifying devices (keyboard and mouse) with a USB stick on the switch. However, you must run the included USB cables from each computer to the switch. Therefore, you need an HDMI port and two USB-A ports on each computer. The only thing I don't turn on is the sound as I have bluetooth headphones. However, the cables also come with an audio jack if you also want to share a wired headphone or speaker setup.
