Some other reviews say they received a generic item. I received a Stant cover that fits my car perfectly and solved the overheating problem. Being a mechanic myself, I know that the first and easiest fix to an overheating problem is to replace the radiator cap. If this does not solve the problem, the next step may be to replace the thermostat. I say maybe because quite often I have met cars where the owner does not know how to fill the cooling system. If you have lost or drained a lot of coolant, remove the cap and fill the system until you see coolant at the top of the radiator. Start the car and let it warm up until the thermostat opens. This becomes visible when the coolant in the radiator is no longer visible. Add coolant until you see coolant flow, then close the lid.
