Works great, glad i got one that's one piece, because it can't fall apart and mold cant grow inside. The bristles are firm but flexible and makes it easier to cover large surface area at a time. Also, if you don't want your hair to tangle, only go forward and backward, don't go side to side, don't go in circles, and make sure your hair was detangled if you can before you use it. Feels very nice and sloughs off dead skin way better than hands ever could. Heard these can help with flakes/dry scalp, remove dead skin, and improve circulation, so I'm hoping it will. My scalp does feel like there is less buildup of skin and it's only my first wash with it.Update 8/10: have been using this since I got it, it works really well at decreasing scalp itchiness and flakiness. I do still have some flaking, but it has drastically improved. Today I double shampooed as I occasionally do when I haven't washed my hair in a while. I used this for both rounds, and I did actually go in circles and different directions (straight, fine hair that I detangled beforehand) and it worked fine. My scalp feels really clean with way less flakes, I'm glad I bought this.
