Delivers optimal voltage and current to preserve the batteries

The controller was tested before installation and works perfectly. It also serves my purpose when mounted on an RV in a non-pressurized location next to the chassis batteries. This allows for a larger solar panel than the factory one, allowing for better maintenance of expensive batteries. Durability and reliability must be achieved with optimal loading. Newmar offers a small 10-watt panel without adjustment, which is not sufficient in most cases.
