Review on 🚴 Wahoo ELEMNT Bolt GPS Cycling Computer by Phil Morales

I prefer Garmin Edge 530

Recently purchased and returned a Garmin Edge 530. I was having trouble getting accurate speed readings from Garmin. It looks like my device didn't read the wheel sensor and put out speed data from the GPS. GPS speed data bounces around everywhere. I couldn't find a solution to this problem after days of searching, reading and fiddling with the device and sensors. Instead I bought a Wahoo and have had it for 2 weeks now. I did 6 rides with this device and found it easy to use and accurate. I removed the Duotrap sensor and am using the cadence and speed sensors from the kit. Pairing couldn't be easier. This unit was more expensive than the Garmin but after one ride it was usable and provided excellent data. I found it incredible that the Garmin was so expensive and I couldn't get it to provide basic, accurate speed readings. I remembered some old Cateye computers I bought for $20 that gave accurate data. I'm not sure if others have had this experience with Garmin. What I like about Wahoo: I like the LEDs on top. You can set them to show your heart rate zone or other data. I've seen reviews that say you can't see them in daylight but I can see them. LOVE customizable screens. My problems: There are 3 buttons on the bottom of the device. Gloves with full fingers make it difficult to squeeze one without hitting the next. I'm sure this won't be a problem in warm weather without full finger gloves.
